As a drug rehabilitation center with a holistic approach to addiction recovery, we believe that it is crucial to address the whole person and any core issues that are fueling an addiction. Our nursing, medical and psychiatric services address pre-existing and post-addiction needs.
The medical/nursing team is involved throughout the whole treatment process, providing initial and on-going nursing and psychiatric assessments, medication management, educational and observational insights. Our multidisciplinary team is involved throughout the continuum of care and helps to evaluate the recovery process, identify challenges and make appropriate changes to treatment.
Substance abuse and drug addiction takes a toll on a person’s physical well-being. The Raleigh House understands the importance that good physical health has on your recovery. Our nutritional therapist will also provide you with on-going individual therapy and group education. Depending on your individualized needs, the topics may include:
As you meet your treatment milestones, you will become responsible for certain decisions around your involvement in structured community activities. This helps increase your tolerance of “real world” situations while improving stress tolerance skills. The Raleigh House provides a safe, structured and supportive environment for substance abuse recovery for you and your family members. Our levels of care provide an invaluable experience for consistency of treatment and ongoing recovery. We know that exercise, proper nutrition, and leisure activities provide positive life-changing experiences. Including recreation in your individualized treatment plan will help you achieve a sense of accomplishment. This boosts your health and self-esteem, which are both key for your recovery from addiction.
At The Raleigh House, you may take part in therapeutic recreational activities, which include yoga, indoor rock climbing, Crossfit, and more. Community activities and involvement are monitored at all levels. Frequency and duration of your individual and group sessions are based on your personal treatment plan.
