Alcohol Addiction Treatment

Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in Denver, Colorado

Alcohol is the most commonly abused drug in America. In fact, as much as 38% of all admissions to drug treatment centers are for alcohol abuse. If you or a loved one is struggling with alcohol abuse, you are not alone!

Am I an Alcoholic? How to Tell if You Have A Drinking Problem

The most difficult challenges that all addicts face are admitting that they have a problem and asking for help. Denial is a huge factor that leads to overdosing and death. If any of the following warning signs of alcoholism sound like you, then you may want to consider treatment:

  • I cannot control how much I drink.
  • My consumption is consistently increasing to get the same effect.
  • I have lost interest in other activities so I can drink.
  • I keep drinking regardless of the consequences.
  • I have withdrawal symptoms when I stop drinking, including: feeling sick to my stomach, sweating, shakiness, and anxiety.
  • I spend most of my day drinking or recovering from drinking.

What Is Alcohol Rehabilitation Like at The Raleigh House?

The Raleigh House offers a 90-day alcohol abuse treatment program. There are multiple levels of care, which are determined by some or all of the following:

  • Pre-screening
  • Nursing / medical assessments
  • Psychiatric assessment
  • Referrals for other levels of care
  • Ongoing clinical assessment

Primary Care for Alcohol Rehabilitation

Primary care is the first and most intensive step of our 90-day alcohol treatment program, and it lasts approximately 30 days (depending upon the individual’s needs). Some of the services included in this part of the treatment program are individual therapy, group therapy, individualized treatment, random alcohol monitoring, amino acid therapy, 12-step programs, exercise, and more.

Transitional Care for Alcohol Abuse

The second step of our 90 day alcohol treatment program is transitional care at The Raleigh House. Lasting approximately 60 days, this part of the program is offered to clients who have completed the initial primary care step of the program or have completed a comparable residential treatment program at another treatment center.

Transitional care allows a client to practice and integrate skills learned while still receiving a high level of supervision and being connected and immersed in treatment. This level of care is also offered to individuals who have completed a comparable residential treatment experience at another program. Please note that some applicants may not qualify for this level of care regardless of time spent in another program. This is based on specific criteria.
