Did you know heroin killed more people in Denver than any other drug in 2014? Addiction has hit Colorado – including the Thornton area – hard, but there is a way to overcome it.
At The Raleigh House, an alcohol and drug treatment center near Thornton, we believe in providing a safe, judgment-free place for people to overcome addiction. From traditional treatment methods like individual counseling to experiential treatment like equine therapy, we work to provide the best care to our clients to help them break free from addiction and co-occurring disorders.
The Raleigh House strives to provide the most effective drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs in the country. We work to treat the whole person and not just the physical symptoms of addiction.
During treatment, you will learn the causes behind addiction and discover what you can do to prevent relapse. You will also have the chance to get involved in activities such as peer-led support groups and community service projects. Our professional staff will help you identify any co-occurring conditions you might have and develop a personalized plan to treat and overcome the disorder.
Our drug and alcohol rehab facility also offers exclusive access to the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center where you can enjoy the lap pool, sauna, weight lifting rooms and aerobic exercise equipment. This is a great way to spend your down time during rehab and develop new goals for yourself.
Family support is an important part of any recovery journey. We offer weekly educational and support group sessions to your family and friends to help them learn about addiction. They will learn techniques to support their loved ones and find new ways to get through this challenging time.
Everyone’s addiction challenges are unique. Through board-certified psychiatric, nursing and nutritional assessments, our professional medical staff will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan targeted at your specific addiction and mental health challenges. At The Raleigh House, we work to do what is best for you, and we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all plan.
