At The Raleigh House our priority is the needs of the clients. Our clinical staff provides a high level of quality care within a client focused approach. Our treatment philosophy encourages, motivates and supports clients in exploring their strengths and limitations to begin the healing process from addiction, trauma and other co-occurring disorders.

When deciding on a treatment center it’s important to choose one with an experienced clinical team. That’s what you’ll find at The Raleigh House.

We are knowledgeable in the assessment and treatment of addiction and co-occurring issues. When you come to The Raleigh House, we assign a Master’s level clinician who will serve as your primary therapist.

You will also have many formal and informal interactions, group sessions, and individual sessions with other qualified staff members. You will benefit from the expertise, friendliness, and care of our entire clinical team.

The multidisciplinary team will met weekly to:

  • review your case
  • discuss treatment planning
  • prepare discharge and aftercare planning
  • present case specific concerns.

You will take part in these weekly meetings to maintain forward movement.

We believe that it is crucial to address the whole person and core issues in order to provide the best care possible. Our nursing, medical and psychiatric services address pre-existing and post-addiction needs.

The medical/nursing team is involved from the beginning and throughout treatment providing initial and on-going nursing and psychiatry assessments, medication management, education and observation.

Substance addiction takes a toll on a person’s physical well-being. The Raleigh House understands the importance that good physical health has on your recovery.

You will receive a nutritional assessment upon admission. This will identify current patterns and opportunities to improve wellness.

Our nutritional therapist will also provide you with on-going individual therapy and group education. Depending on your needs, the topics may include:

  • pro-recovery diet
  • concentrated food supplements (amino acids, vitamins and minerals)
  • digestion
  • hydration
  • sleep patterns
  • other health and nutrition topics

One of our goals for you is to achieve a balance in life. That is why The Raleigh House includes involvement in the community during treatment.

We know that exercise, proper nutrition, and leisure activities provide positive life-changing experiences. At The Raleigh House, you can may take part in:

  • Yoga
  • Indoor rock climbing
  • Boxing
  • Cross-fit, and more

You can also take part in the number of cultural and artistic events that the Denver community has to offer.

Including recreation will help you achieve a sense of accomplishment. This boosts your health and self-esteem. Both are key for your recovery from addiction.

While in the treatment program, you will attend local 12-Step meetings. You may also attend alternative support groups, depending on your specific needs.

You will also take part in fellowship programs including: AA (Alcoholics Anonymous), CA (Cocaine Anonymous), NA (Narcotics Anonymous), Emotional Sobriety.

We encourage your participation in 12-step fellowship special events. This includes softball and volleyball tournaments, sober holiday events, and conventions.

A meaningful step in the recovery process is being a productive member of the community. While at The Raleigh House, you can “give back” by being involved in community needs and services.

The Raleigh House offers a full continuum of comprehensive recovery programs for you and your family members. The levels of care provide an invaluable experience in consistency of treatment and on-going recovery life changes.

Clients work with our multidisciplinary team throughout the continuum of care and help evaluate the recovery process, identify challenges and make appropriate changes to treatment.

Levels of Care

Our substance abuse treatment program has various levels of treatment that meet your individual needs. You will move through these levels of care upon clinical recommendation and when appropriate.

Building a Foundation For Your Treatment

Our treatment program lays the groundwork for life-long recovery through:

  • structured therapeutic activities
  • health and nutrition
  • examining underlying issues fueling the addiction
  • improving interpersonal relationships
  • beginning to change unhealthy thought and behavior patterns.

You will take part in drug and alcohol monitoring through urine drug screens and breathalyzers.

Increased Involvement in Your Treatment

As you meet your treatment milestones, you will become responsible for certain decisions around your involvement in structured community activities. This helps increase your tolerance of “real world” situations while improving stress tolerance skills.

Community activities and involvement are monitored at all levels. Frequency and duration of your individual and group sessions are based on your personal treatment plan.

Increased Chance at Recovery

Moving through the various levels of care gives you with the best chance for a successful recovery from substance abuse. If you follow the recommended treatment process and stay in treatment throughout the various levels of care, you increase your chances for recovery.

The Raleigh House provides a safe, structured and supportive environment for substance abuse recovery. You can evaluate your recovery progress, identify personal challenges, and change any behaviors at each level of care.
