Over half the people who contact us are not the actual alcoholic, addict or person in need, but the wonderful people in their lives who care about them enough to take proactive steps towards their well-being and health. Just by looking for information, searching for help and visiting this website, you have made a huge step. We, at The Raleigh House of Hope drug treatment center, applaud you.
We also understand that a majority of loved ones and family members often feel overwhelmed, helpless, scared and even angry. Make no mistake about it: Addiction affects everyone who loves and cares about the addict. The Raleigh House of Hope is here to help you get through this perplexing time of transition to a healthier, more loving connection to your family member or loved one.
Because a majority of the inquiries we receive at The Raleigh House of Hope are from friends and loved ones, our highly experienced and trained staff focuses on educating family members by spending a substantial amount of time talking about how to encourage and get your loved one into treatment. We coordinate every characteristic of an intervention, from tailoring the initial format, specific to each individual’s needs, to recruiting the various family members to be involved if necessary. The Raleigh House of Hope is here for you to make this process as smooth and as painless as possible.
You may be asking yourself, “How do I know if my family member or loved one needs treatment?” Well, bluntly, if you are here looking into it, chances are they do. But there are ways for all of us to know and we at The Raleigh House of Hope administer all of the appropriate tests to screen and assess the precise needs of you loved one. We then determine what are the most suitable drug treatment modalities that are crucial each individual’s recovery.
The Raleigh House of Hope's caring team completely caters to you and your loved one’s needs. We will pick up clients or their families anytime at the airport and help to coordinate your travel process. We’ll do whatever we can to make this easier for you—you’ve been dealing with a lot.
We’ve found that about 90% of family members want to be involved in the treatment of their loved one. The Raleigh House of Hope prefers to incorporate family members throughout the client’s recovery so families see the various phases of treatment. Within the first 24-48 hours, we will reach out to significant others during the client’s detoxification and help transition the family to the client’s drug treatment program. Our therapists meet individually with their client to work on their original family issues, as well as meet one-on-one with our client’s significant others to provide education and support.
Each individual’s care is customized strictly on the needs and their specific situation, however, we absolutely respect the sanctity of each relationship and will not contact family members until we have spoken directly to our client. Our therapists at The Raleigh House of Hope in Denver are available throughout the week to meet in person or have phone sessions with family members, whichever is most convenient for you. Individual couples sessions can also be scheduled throughout the week on an as needed basis.
Because we, at The Raleigh House of Hope, do not recommend returning a treated person to an untreated environment, we educate and engage families in our continuing care and the planning we do with it. After 30 to 90 days being away from the home in treatment, marriages can sometimes be stressed. We assist in easing our clients back into their home, place of employment and community. The Raleigh House of Hope has welcomed clients and their families from all over the US and are accustomed to suiting their needs as well as we also take charge in making referrals for the family, such as local therapists and 12-Step meetings.
